
Players who are Role Models for up and coming young stars at Dona’s Mates Youth Development Project

Sfiso “Ntsunda” Myene
“Ntsunda”, the current Orlando Pirates is the Role Model of many young Football players at Dona’s Mates since he was at some stage of career played for our structure.
He still remain the best player to make it big in the Professional Ranks having played for our organization.

Thabang “Safe Hands” Khasu
"Safe Hands” Khasu, is also in the books of Orlando Pirates Football Club but has been loaned to Royal Eagles Football Club which plays in the National First Division and is based in KZN. Thabang is also one of the shining talented Goalkeepers in the country and as Dona’s Mates we are very proud of his progress in his career having been nurtured by our Institution as a Goalkeeper before joining Orlando Pirates Development.
We are also Proud that we are using Thabang’s achievements as an example to our young stars, he is our local Boy and a big Role Model to many. He has also played for the under 20 National Team and his future as a Goalkeeper looks bright.


Elton “Tower” Nwamuchua
“Tower” Nwamuchua is one of our upcoming brightest Football Stars, he’s 20 years old, turning 21 on the 10th of June 2015. This Golden Boy has risen against all odds from our structure and went direct to the PSL Team of Orlando Pirates where he is currently on Trial.
He has been training with the senior Team of Orlando Pirates for 12 weeks now and was given Jersey number 29. He is playing at Centre back and his prospects are looking bright. He has already inspired many young stars in our organization and community at large.

Elton “Tower” Nwamuchua
Thato “Messi” Mofokeng second from left is a dynamic Football player who is so talented that we gave so many nicknames, but “Messi” stands because this young boy is such a brilliant and amazing dribbler when he in possession of the ball.
He made history in our organization when at the age of 12 years he left us and joined the School of Excellence after spending six years in our organization. He was of many young players who started playing Football when they were 6 years old under the Guidance of the late Orlando Pirates Legend and Founding Father of Kaizer Chiefs Thomas “Zero My Hero” Johnson.
He spent 5 years at the School of Excellence and he is now in the books of Bidvest Wits reserve Team and Studying at the same time. Thato “Messi” Mofokeng is the Boy wearing Jersey number 3 on the Video on our Home Page.
